The Department came into existence at graduate level in 2015 with an objective to provide quality education and contribute for development of Sciences and Zoological studies. Zoology as a career provides number of specializations because of which the students are presented with a lot of career options once they chose to be associated with this field. There is a young and dynamic faculty member in this department. Head of the department have specialization in Fish and Fisheries. The Department has well established laboratory for fish biology. The laboratory has various equipments like- compound microscopes, specimen, blood group test kit, hemoglobin test kit, insect net etc. Besides this the department has well experienced Lab Assistant. Head of the Department have 4 research papers in high impact factor published in National Journals.
