In this college History as a subject is being taught at general level to the undergraduates from first year to third year. The department was established in the year 2014. For every session a Departmental Council is being elected by the students. Besides teaching the department organizes other curricular activities such as seminar, quiz, debates etc. This subject provides an opportunity to the students to get acquainted with their roots and to identify our glorious past. Since its establishment the subject has become most opted subject by the students after Hindi literature and Political Science. In the session 2022-23 there are total 109 students enrolled in B.A. programme. The percentage of students successfully passed in previous sessions is more than 95%.
